香港

There's a certain undeniable energy running through Hong Kong..you just feel alive when you're there. It's like every moment is a heightened experience..and it doesn't necessarily have to be when you're doing something grand or particularly exciting. You could just be walking the ridiculously crowded streets of mong kok, or wandering through forgotten neighborhoods, or even riding the mtr to and from work. There's always something happening. Always something to lose yourself in. For me, Hong Kong holds nothing but amazing memories and I know I will continue to have and create more unforgettable experiences there in the future. But for now, this post is purely nostalgic. Hong Kong, just in case you didn't know already, I love you.

the intro

So I guess this is the part where I introduce myself, tell you my name, where I'm from, and the reason for this blog. To keep my anonymity, I won't tell you alllll the details, just in case you're like a stalker or something haha (half kidding), but what I will tell you is that I'm a New York City girl, born and raised (if you couldn't already tell from the pictures above, shame on you!). As for this blog, I consider it my own personal photo diary...that just happens to be public. I think blogs are fascinating because they are  a continually evolving form of art and thoughts. Also, while I'm off living my life and being me, like many people I tend to forget all those special little details, so the photos I take help immortalize those moments in my life and allow me to look back at them and relive them over and over again. So here's to you New York, you and all your little details.

summer kind of wonderful

Hi Summer,
I miss you. Won't you come back? I miss hanging poolside with you and the smell of sunscreen on scorching skin. I miss the long hazy nights of hangin' recklessly with friends. I miss being tan, our treks to the beach, wearing over-sized sunglasses, drinking ice-cold coronas with limes and lemons we never had, but most of all, I miss those unplanned days where anything, at any moment, could and would happen.

love, me
xo
