monkey business
I should probably stop here with all these monkey pictures...but oh wait, nope, there's mooore:
These cute little furry things were crawling everywhere outside the temple, scouring for any food they could fine. I especially loved the groups of families that would huddle together. They behaved exactly like humans, it was weird yet fascinating to watch.

I still remember the day we trekked up the rocky trail up to the top of the hill. It was incredibly hot, and the sun threatened to set our skin on fire. So when we finally reached the top and saw the view, it was like a visual and literal breath of fresh air. Totally worth the heat rash and mosquito bites that followed. The second picture I took while riding the railway to see the infamous Big Buddha. The day was overcast, leaving a shroud of mist that appeared to swallow the forest whole. It was such a surreal feeling to be up in the sky and feel like you were disappearing into this vapour..

Just one of those beautiful days of nothing but wandering aimlessly through forgotten spaces of the world. It continues to surprise me that places like this exists only an hour boat ride away from the city jungle that is Hong Kong.
